Michael Stewart

Michael Stewart 64, born to Irene and Wilson Stewart in the city of Newark, New Jersey on February 14, 1955. Sadly, Mike passed away on February 8, 2019. Although being born in New Jersey he spent a large part of his life as a resident of Akron Ohio. He attended South High school in Akron and upon graduation entered the marine Corp in 1972 serving two years.

Mike was an avid football fan. He was particularly fond of the Jackson Ville Jaguars. He also had a passion for music. Mike was known as a prankster. Very unique in the way that once you’ve met him you would never forget him. He was very generous with the love and support that he provided his family. They were his number one priority. He will be remembered as a loving, caring and thoughtful man. His loving spirit will be missed by many family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother Reginal. He will leave to mourn him his mother Irene Smith and son Anwar Lateef brothers Fayyaadh, James, Kenny, Edgar and Donald. As well as a very large host of family and friends, this includes an extended A.A. family whom he loved very much.
