Karen Sue Fowler (Canfield)

Karen Sue Fowler (Canfield) age 61, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, died June 7, 2019. Karen was born March 31, 1958 in Rochester, New York to the late Leo and Cecile Canfield.

Karen worked at Dollar General in Dover, Ohio. She enjoyed her time with the grandchildren, sewing, crafts, baking and shopping. At night, Karen would read a good book.

Karen will be deeply missed by her children Kristi (Jim) Ohler, Pam (Don) Grimwood and Steven McCue. Brothers, Kevin (Sally) Canfield, Keith (Kris) Canfield and Kurt (Jill) Canfield, sisters, Kim (Rick) Montgomery and Karol (Roy) Thewlis and one stepsister, Kathy Nance. Her six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Fowler and her sister, Nancy Elizabeth Canfield.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Karen’s name for her love for children.
