Julia A. Solvey age 69 of Bolivar, died Thursday, October 26

in Hennis Care Centre following a period of declining health. Born April 14, 1948 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Rose Eberhardt. Julia retired as a Home Health Aide from the Dover Senior Center. She along with her husband John were the owners of the Towpath Tavern and she was employed by the Bolivar Army Navy. She was a 1966 graduate of Tusky Valley High School.
She is survived by her son John (Sue) Solvey of Dover; grandsons, A.J. Solvey of Dover and Bryan (Danielle) Alesiano of Boynton Beach, FL; a sister, Annie (Clinton) Tope of Levittsville; sister-in-law, Carole (Randi) German of Dellroy; brother-in-law, Larry (Barbara) Solvey of Fairfax, VA and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, one brother and one sister.
Per Julia’s request, there will be no calling hours or visitation. A private burial service will be conducted at a later date.
