Joseph Franklin Tipton
Joseph Franklin Tipton of Parma Heights, Ohio passed away November 4,2017 at the age of 48 after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 5, 1969 in Cleveland Ohio.
Joe is survived by his sons Shane and Vito, Mother Shirley Tipton, and Step Father Bill Burnett, Sisters Sherry and Kimberly, Brothers Robert, David, and Michael. He was preceded in death by his Father Robert L Tipton.
Joe was a man of quick wit, humor, and charm. He excelled as a musician, playing the French horn in orchestra and symphonic band. He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing for friends and family. Above all, Joe loved fishing, hiking trails, and camping. He shared this passion with his sons and loved ones.
An avid fisherman, Joe’s love for the ocean was realized as he made his final cast along side his son and family at Fripp Island, S.C.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Parma Heights Baptist Church 8971 West Ridgewood Drive, Parma Heights, Ohio. Service begins at 7 PM Tuesday November 7, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Western Reserve or Parma Heights Baptist Church.
