John Edward Smith of Beach City Ohio, born March 4, 1957 passed away January 13, 2019 at the age of 61.
John is survived by two daughters, Jamie Smith (Chris Eber) of Medina and Katie (Jake) Chester of Massillon; five sisters, Mary (James) Brown of Spanaway, Washington, Peg (Kenneth) Chovan of Massillon, Terri (William) Gaynor of Massillon, Paula (Lee) Snyder of Byesville and Amie (Mitch) Valentine of Brookville; a brother, James Smith of Massillon; sister-in-law, Terrie Smith of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Emily, Alaina, Sawyer and Cooper; numerous nephews and nieces; aunt Pam of Virginia and many friends and colleagues.
John is preceded in death by his father, Rowland Smith; mother, Saundra (Tennill) Smith; brother, Richard Smith, and his grandparents Perry and Lucille Tennill and Verne and Margarie Smith.
No public services are planned. A private ceremony will be announced at a later date.
