Jeffrey L. Weigl

It is with great sadness and a broken heart that I share with you that Jeffrey Lee Weigl, my husband, my soul mate, my best friend for 32 years lost his battle with cancer on June 6, 2018 at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; mother, Margaret; sister, Anne; brother, Tom; and brothers-in-law, Dave and Gene. Loved as well by our niece Ashleigh, and nephews Matt and Nate and many special friends who have been with us every step of the way for 22 months.

He was the son of the late William Weigl.

Formerly of Brecksville, he was a Mechanical/Sales/Design engineer and holder of three U.S. patents. He was an avid outdoorsman, golfer and expert birder who traveled to 49 states and several countries to pursue his passions. He often said the woods was his cathedral. A kind, loving, gentle man. He died at home as he wished with his wife beside him after a long, courageous fight. The universe has another star now. No services will be held, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be scattered privately as he wished. Very special thanks to Cleveland Clinic Oncology in Twinsburg and the CCF Hospice department for exceptional care. Anyone wishing to honor his memory can donate to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN). Condolences can be shared with his family at https://www.heritagecremationsociety.com/.
