  7. TERRY STEINER " BEAR" says:

Jack and I worked together and had known each other for 35 years. Over the past 5 years or so Jack and I were on a mission to find the best coney in our area. We met every week to eat some place new just not for coneys either. We found some good and some bad. Jack was my best buddy. Until we met at the gates. I will miss you.

    • Travis says:

Bear. You meant the World to Jack. His Best friend for sure. I never had to many talks with Jack that your name didn’t come up that’s for sure. I will tell you he misses you all the same.

  8. Sandra and Charles Hodges says:

Sharon, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I was a good friend of Jack’s and we worked together as you know. Jack was a good man who had a heart bigger than he was. I remember when you met Jack. He was finally happy after going through his own personal heartbreak. He found the love of his life and you found yours. Rest in peace my friend and I’m sure we will meet again in heaven. I will pray for you as you go through your difficult time. God bless you.

  9. Lori Troyer says:

I cannot believe a week has gone by and not a day has passed that your name has not been spoken. Just today, as we were getting out of the car for a birthday party, Lola says, “Jack had a really big place in my heart”. Jack, you touched so many peoples lives. It was evident that you truly cared about the people around you and you never hesitated before helping someone.
I am forever grateful to have met you and Sharon, and to have shared the last 10 years as friends and neighbors and the best non blood grandparents Lola will ever have. I will forever cherish our memories: the laughs, tears and moments of pure joy.
My deepest condolences to Sharon and Suzie Q. We love you!

  10. Gary & Cheryl Spear says:

We knew Jack through the on-line Forum DragList. For many years now, our DragList Super Crew would make an annual trip to a drag strip somewhere around the country We’d watch the races and tell stories about cars, then stay up ’til the wee hours talking about anything and everything. As we got older the late night conversations ended a little earlier. lol. It started out as a way to meet the people we were posting with on the site, but over the years has turned into a close knit group of very good friends. I miss getting on the computer in the morning and reading what Jack had been up to the day before. , More times than not, his stories included helping others around the community or working on this or that at Church. I aways looked up to Jack. He set the, “this is how you should live” bar pretty high.
Our sincere condolences to Sharon. You know we are only a phone call, text or a few hours away.
