Howard H. Goebel
Howard H. Goebel, born May 28, 1930, joined his wife Marjorie Fay on Wednesday December 21, 2016 to live eternally with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by his parents Martin and Laura Goebel, daughter Dorthea Lynn, brother Earl and sisters Lorraine, Violet, and Ellen, he is survived by his children Kenny, Susie, Curly (Brenda), and Kathy, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren with number 23 due in March.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Akron post office. He will be remembered as a scout leader, Cleveland Indians fan, fisherman and all around Mr. fix it.
The family would like to thank Harbor Light Hospice for all their love and care.
Dad was a member of hope Lutheran church, 999 Portage Lakes Dr. 44319, where visitation will take place Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. and fellowship and a time for sharing will follow the service.
