Bernice Fouts

Bernice Fouts, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2016.  She was born in Akron, OH to the late Herbert and Lela Pflaging.  Bernice graduated from Kenmore High School and attended The University of Akron. She lived in the Summit County area her entire life and worked/retired from Akron General Medical Center.

Bernice is preceded in death by husband Jerry R. Fouts, ex-husband Howard F. Hatherill, Jr., and sister Thelma Koval.

Bernice is survived by her three daughters (and in-law spouses) Sherry (Bill) Miller, Tracy (Todd) Johnston and Erica Wages, and two sons Jeff Hatherill and Brett Hatherill.  Bernice also had seven grandchildren; Seth Miller, Heath (Christi) Miller, Jake (Kayla) Miller, Kyle (Tianna) Johnston, Kody (Holly) Johnston, Sarah Wages and Matt Wages.  Additionally, she had three great-grandchildren; Andrew Miller, Holley Miller and Kaliyana Johnston.
