Barbara J. (Verh) McMullen, age 73 passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Community Care Center of Alliance. She was born on February 14, 1948 in Ravenna and lived in Alliance and Sebring areas for most of her life. Barbara loved doing plastic canvas and different crafts. Barbara was a loving caring mother and grandmother and all around loving person. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Doris (Keith) Kiser of Alliance, her two sons, James McMullen of Alliance and Virgil (Tina) McMullen of Beloit; daughter-in-law Connie McMullen of Sebring; grandchildren Destiny (Ben) Snodgrass, Rebekah (Rob) Jones, Isaac Kiser, Tiffany, Amber Diamonte, Nikita, Ryan (Melissa), Zach and Jessie McMullen; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah Gabriel and Cooper; her brother Johnny (Rose) Verh of Sebring and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding her in death was her husband James (Jim) McMullen, her parents Stanley and Jean Verh, her brother Stanley (Butch) Verh, and her granddaughter Sarah Jo Kiser.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Union Avenue United Methodist Church, 1843 S. Union Ave Alliance, OH. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family at
